Project Hail Mary

Took the kids to their first drive in experience. (I was flashing back to riding in a friend’s parents’ minivan in Wysox.) The kids had the Squatch (my van), I had my sleeping bag on the grass. Stars above. The night was perfect. John and Simon, who are both very particular about a fair many things considered the film “the best”, and their “favorite”. Winning.

I love SciFi. I love buddy films. It was a great SciFi/Buddy Film with great writing, solid characters. Cinematography is beautiful. Only critique : the soundtrack. I kept wanting Hans Zimmer, but that might’ve turned PHM into Interstellar (a favorite). No matter; I listened to that soundtrack on the drive home.
